Founded on a Passion for Light and Design
Brilliant Event Lighting was founded by Scott McBride, whose background in professional lighting and deep understanding of event production became the foundation for a company built around one idea: that lighting should be treated as a design discipline, not an afterthought.
With roots in a family of lighting professionals and over a decade of hands-on experience across more than 1,000 events, Scott built Brilliant Event Lighting into one of Southern California’s most respected event lighting design studios. From intimate private estate dinners to large-scale hotel ballroom productions, the company has earned the trust of leading planners, coordinators, and venues across San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Palm Springs.
